Feast for the Orphans & Madrasa Students
Children are the future of a nation, so appropriately nurturing them will bring prosperity to the future society. One of the root problems in Bangladesh is that many children remain below the poverty line and don’t get proper guidance to build up their quality to lead a sustainable life. To help these children is the first and foremost duty, but many cannot due to lack of resource and will. One of the Active Action’s main goals is t help the children and educate them to build them up as competent individuals. Intending to help poor children, Active Action regularly tries to helps orphanages in Bangladesh. A healthy younger generation produces a healthy society so as our 3rd project, we decided to feed the poor children who live in orphanages and study in madrasa. This is a charity project and we named it “Feast for Orphans & Madrasa Students”.
Our volunteer team worked hard to find a madrasa where orphans also reside apart from regular students. They informed us about such a madrasa in Shankibhanga located Bharatkhali area of Gaibandha district after some diligent searching. Our team examined the situation of that madrasa and confirmed that students and orphans don’t get much opportunity to eat healthy food. So, we decided to aid that madrasa and feed all their children for a day.
The fundraising for this project was done from within the organization. After some diligent effort, we were able to collect an amount to execute this project seamlessly. Our family and friends helped us to gather the fund through their generous donation.
After collecting the fund, it was sent to our volunteers in Bharatkhali. We talked to the authority about the children’s daily hood habits and tied to accommodate our feast program accordingly. Our volunteers bought healthy food and the purchase was monitored by the executive body digitally. Our team was then prepared to arrange a feast for the orphans and Madrasa students.
On 4 March 2021, the Active Action team arranged the feast program. We fed a healthy meal to the orphans and students of the Madrasa in Shankibhanga. The authority was pleased with our effort and the children were also very happy.
Active Action team tried to deliver their best possible effort to make this project a success keeping the goodwill in heart to aid the children. This charity project was entirely funded from within the organization and we couldn’t be happier to see a smile in the face of the orphans and the students. We heartily wish that you will stay by our side in our future projects and together we can build a strong, healthier society and aid the needful.
